In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to get the most out of using Google Meet as an end user. Google Meet has grown an incredible amount in the last year and we want to give you the full walkthrough in this session. We’ll aim to cover everything from starting and joining a Meet session to using the newest and more advanced features available. This will primarily be focused on Google Meet for Desktop, but many of the topics are easily transferred to mobile. This workshop is designed for newer Google Workspace users as well as seasoned users alike.

Some of the topics we’ll cover are:

• Creating, hosting, and joining Meet sessions.
• Configuring your call settings, including microphone, camera, backgrounds, etc.
• Basic functionality overview.
• Host management settings and features, including recording and quick access.
• Meet activities and features, including polling, Q&A, and breakout rooms.
